Halo's Safety Measures
As body piercing experts, we're trained in pathogen safety, including droplet, bloodborne, and airborne pathogens. We strictly follow best-practice standards for cleaning and procedures before, during, and after each piercing to ensure a safe experience at Halo. We adhere to CDC and Arizona Department of Health guidelines for everyone's safety. Our employees only work when healthy, and we ask the same of our clients.

We are a tiny business; please bear with us if we are shorthanded.

Here are a few more helpful tools to help when getting pierced:

  • Hand washing is essential, not just after bathroom breaks, but as often as possible. We will continue offering hand sanitizer at the front door, the counter, and piercing rooms for all people.

  • We have Hepa Filters in every room and an air scrubber to maintain clean air in the studio.

  • Getting a piercing while feeling under the weather hurts more and can continue to compromise your immune system.

  • Halo prefers ONE guest for nipple/genital piercings or upgrades. Guest must follow safety rules, be healthy, be 18+, and not distract the piercer.

  • Don't be offended if we offer you hand sanitizer.

  • BE KIND to one another. Discrimination towards people in our studio will not be tolerated. This is not a culturally specific disease or an elderly disease; this can affect anyone, and common courtesy is expected during this and all other times.

  • Please don't touch your piercings at the front counter or anywhere except at home. This simple but basic rule can protect you from adverse reactions.

  • STAY HYDRATED! We live in a desert and drink water.

  • Eat a healthy meal (without alcohol) at least 3 hours before you arrive.

At Halo, we care about you and want everyone to heal their piercings safely. It's best to recover from surgery, injury, or illness before getting a new piercing. If you're unwell or in contact with someone contagious, please stay home. Please wait until you're entirely better before visiting us.

Thank you for your continued support of our tiny business.
