In 1931 an unemployed architect , Alfred
Mosher Butts created the game "Lexiko" which was changed to
"criss-Cross Words" and later came to be known as Scrabble.
This very popular game is played with two
to four players whom score points by forming words from individual letter tiles
that have points on them, on a game board marked with a 15x15 grid.
IN the United States, the name Scrabble is
trademarked by Hasbro, inc. Scrabble is sold in 121 countries with 29 different
language versions. Worldwide, over one hundred
and fifty million sets have been sold. It

book in their own language.
